Abstract
Based on the assumption, that disorders in the field of body-ego-ident ity and sexuality also concern the central core of the unconscious, th e author considers human-structural dance - as expression of the uncon scious and access to it - as a special form of treatment for these dis orders. In turning her special attention to body-ego identity and sexu ality, she describes the developmental process of young anorectic woma n. This process occured in an integrated outpatient treatment situatio n of dance therapy, milieu therapy and analytical group therapy. Her r esults are based on the evaluation of video-recordings of selected dan ces by independent raters, on minutes of the group therapies, on milie u-therapeutic records, on the comparison of ISTA-assessments of the wh ole therapeutic process and on an interview with the patient one year after having finished her therapy.
