Abstract
Magnetic resonance imaging scans were visually inspected to investigat e the incidence of gray matter heterotopia (GMH) in a group of 55 schi zophrenic patients and a group of 75 control subjects. No GMHs were fo und in the control subjects. In the patient group, I GMH was found, an incidence of 1.8%.
