Abstract
The effect of 2 MeV proton irradiation on the bulk onset transition te mperature T-c, the bulk resistivity and the resistance of bicrystal Jo sephson junctions fabricated from Tl2Ca2BaCu2O8 is reported. Each of t he measured parameters are found to vary nearly linearly with proton f luence. This is the first time a correlation between junction resistan ce and bulk T-c has been reported in the cuprate superconductors. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
