Abstract
Pre-prepared Pt hydrosols stabilized by surfactants may be used as pre cursors for heterogeneous hydrogenation catalysts active in the select ive high-pressure transformation of 3,4-dichloronitrobenzene to the co rresponding aniline. The catalytic performance of the new systems was evaluated in batchwise and continuous tests and the results are compar ed to conventional Pt/C systems.
