H. Jankowska et al., CHROMATOGRAPHIC DETERMINATION OF REGENERATION EFFECTS OF ACTIVE-CARBON BY SUPERCRITICAL EXTRACTION WITH CARBON-DIOXIDE, Przemysl Chemiczny, 77(6), 1998, pp. 219
Inverse gas chromatography has been used to characterize changes of po
re structure of active carbon preparations (commercial, ash-discharged
and oxidized) polluted with tert-butylbenzene and regenerated by supe
rcritical extraction with carbon dioxide. The slit-like model of micro
pores has been applied for description of pore structure. Ash-discharg
ed sample has proved to be the most difficult to regenerate by this me
thod.
