COST OF PRODUCTION AND CONVENIENCE OF MULTICOMPONENT PROCEDURES

Multicomponent procedures have recently undergone remarkable developme nt. For this reason the Scientific Committee of the National Congress in Trieste, during the session ''Toward the global apheresis'', though t it opportune to execute an analysis of their cost, in order to evalu ate an eventual real economic convenience of same. Of course this eval uation can only be in general terms, since we must consider both plasm a-production costs, determined by organization, costs of materials and methods of equipment acquisition, along with agreements made with the plasma transformation industries, which vary from country to country.
