Abstract
The application of multilayer control theory in multivariable fuzzy sy stems is considered. Some definitions and theorems with regard to such systems are given. Multilayer control algorithms, based on direct dec omposition of the original system into layers, are presented and illus trated by numerical examples. The algorithms analyse the conditions fo r linguistic coincidence of the multilayer solution and the original. It is shown that the number of fuzzy relations is significantly reduce d, and thus real-time measurement and control implementation is facili tated.
