Abstract
We report a comparative study of the expression of multilineage and ad hesion molecules on CD34(+) cells isolated from human umbilical cord b lood (CB) and G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood progenitor cells (PBPC) from healthy volunteers. The major difference found between the two s ources of CD34(+) populations was the expression of CD54 molecule, whi ch was higher in CB in comparison to PBPC.
