Abstract
The term 'an HLA matched donor' is in general used without giving exac t information on the level of resolution of the HLA typing. This can l ead to misunderstandings. A proposal is formulated to agree on using s ix match categories according to the HLA typing technique used to indi cate the level of confidence of the matching.
