Abstract
We study minimal conditions under which a function system is a represe ntation system in L-p(a, b), - infinity less than or equal to a < b le ss than or equal to + infinity, 0 < p < infinity, i.e., any function f is an element of L-p(a, b) can be represented by at least one L-p-con vergent series relative to this system.
