Abstract
The rare case of a pneumopenis and pneumoscrotum after a thoracic oper ation is reported. Two subtypes - pneumatocele and subcutaneous emphys ema of the scrotum - are differentiated on the basis of anatomy. The c ases reported in the literature so far are reviewed. A therapeutic reg imen is recommended.
