Abstract
The nonlinear interference accompanying three-photon spontaneous param etric light scattering is considered. The frequency-angle line shape o f the scattering is calculated for crystal/linear-dispersive-medium/no nlinear-crystal and nonlinear-crystal/nonlinear-crystal systems. The q uestion of the possible use of nonlinear interference in spectroscopy is discussed. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
