Abstract
An analysis is made of vibrational packets created in molecules by col lisions with fast protons. Some characteristic features of the Raman l ight scattering spectrum are discussed for a molecule with squeezed vi brational states. It is suggested that squeezed vibrational states in the ground electronic state of a molecule may be used for isotope sepa ration. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
