A library of novel phosphine oxazoline ligands 2 was tested in the asy
mmetric allylation of 4-acyloxy-2-pentenes 1. High throughput screenin
g techniques were employed to accelerate this process. The data accumu
lated allowed the extent of asymmetric induction to be correlated with
