Abstract
We present bi-orthogonal systems on [0, 1], which are well-adapted to the study of the Sobolev spaces H(k)([0, 1]) and H-0k([0, 1]) (k is-an -element-of Z) and are provided through dyadic translations and dilata tions from a finite number of basic functions. Those bases allow also the study of divergence-free vector functions on [0, 1]n.
