Abstract
Marijuana cannabinoids are both psychoactive and immunoactive. Here, w e will review evidence that cannabinoids modulate immunity and that ca nnabinoid receptors and endogenous ligands are expressed in immune tis sues. Clues will also be presented concerning the role of the cannabin oid system in immune regulation and the possible molecular mechanisms involved.
