Abstract
A method is described for analysis of random hydrophysical fields, pro viding to determine the velocity and direction of propagation of wave packets comprising the wale field. Some numerical results are given, i llustrating the application of the method on the basis of data obtaine d during the ''Mesopolygon'' experiment. The field is presented in the form of the sum of plane waves each characterized by specigic velocit y of propagation.
