Abstract
A new method of Rn-222 data analysis for vertical turbulent-transfer p arameters calculation in the ocean benthic boundary layer is suggested . The method is based on solving a reverse problem for tracer transfer equation using a resistance function, A comparing of analyses by the traditional least square method and the new method is performed. A ser ies of advanteges of the latter is shown. Results of calculations on t wo near-bottom radon stations: GEOSECS Atlantic N (o) under bar 31 and CYGNUS CY7 are presented.
