Abstract
This study reports on the use of an easily applied Bayesian forecastin g programme (OPT; Clydesoft) to predict amikacin dose requirements in 10 patients with haematological disease and neutropenic fever. OPT-det ermined dose adjustment achieved therapeutic drug levels for 80% of th e peak and 94% of the trough measurements.
