Abstract
A phosphor based on potassium aluminosilicophosphate glass activated w ith europium (III) and copper (II) has been synthesized. It has been s hown that the europium luminescence is quenched by copper ions in the glass. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics. [S1063-7850(98)01101-X] .
