A second-order linear differential equation describing the temporal ev
olution of the amplitudes of capillary waves in a drop of low-viscosit
y liquid with elastic properties is given with a complex coefficient m
ultiplying the first derivative. It is shown that the capillary oscill
ations of the drop are modulated by its oscillations associated with t
