Abstract
It is shown that the strong response to hydrogen adsorption exhibited by the electrical conductivity of thin nanostructured films based on m ixed tin and titanium oxides and its rapid relaxation to the initial v alue in an adsorption-desorption cycle are caused by the ''trigger'' p roperties of this system relative to changes in the composition of the gaseous atmosphere.
