Abstract
The first structural characterization of a simple aliphatic amine 'hem i' salt is reported: cyclohexylamine hemihydrochloride. An X-ray struc ture determination reveals that a cyclohexylammonium cation and a cycl ohexylamine molecule are Linked by a hydrogen bond N+-H ... N. Further H bonds N-H ... Cl lead to a layer structure.
