Abstract
The adsorption kinetics of the protein bee venom phospholipase A, to a smooth, planar metal oxide surface has been measured under controlled hydrodynamic conditions using optical waveguide lightmode spectroscop y (OWLS). Adsorption follows the generalized ballistic deposition (GBD ) model, except at low bulk protein concentrations, where Langmuir kin etics are observed. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physics.
