Abstract
The development of coincidence spectrometers with multivariable detect ion techniques, higher energy kinematics, monochromated and spin-polar ised electron sources, will usher in a new generation of electron mome ntum spectroscopy revealing new electronic phenomena in atoms, molecul es and solids. This will be enhanced by developments in target prepara tion, such as spin polarised, oriented and aligned atoms and molecules , radicals, surfaces and strongly correlated systems in condensed matt er.
