Abstract
Possible fields of application for light-gas mass accelerators have be en considered. The physical model and the results of mathematically si mulated processes for internal ballistics have been presented. The com parative analysis of different methods and schemes for providing the g as-light accelerators with a hurled body, viz. hydrogen has been condu cted. The feasible and expedient use of metal-hydride techniques and t echnology for implementation of the body hurling as well as its increa se efficiency has been grounded. The experimental test results of meta l-hydride hydrogen sources of different types have been submitted. (C) 1998 International Association for Hydrogen Energy.
