Abstract
This article presents prospective four-year prosthetic results of the placement of 432 posterior freestanding, conventionally cemented prost hetic tooth implants in posterior edentulous spaces using the Bicon De ntal Implants system (Bicon Dental Implants). Over four years, 0.74 pe rcent of the abutments loosened, 0.5 percent of the abutments fracture d, and 2.47 percent of the crowns experienced porcelain fracture, tall porcelain fracture's occurred at time of placement). This sow rate of problems appears to make freestanding single-tooth implant restoratio ns a reliable solution to treating posterior edentulism.
