Abstract
We propose a method of heterodyne detection of far-infrared signals us ing quantum interference between one- and two-photon absorption. We su ggest different implementations of the scheme using multiple quantum w ell detectors and evaluate its sensitivity. (C) 1998 American Institut e of Physics.
