Abstract
The seed oil of Peschiera australis (Apocynaceae) was analyzed for its fatty acid composition by gaschromatography-mass spectrometry. Oleic acid was the main fatty acid (75%) beside other usual compounds. The U V, IR and NMR spectroscopic data of the oil pointed to the presence of the alkaloides tabersonine and coronaridine.
