Abstract
Experimental evidence of ferromagnetic behavior of liquid droplets pro duced by laser ablation from amorphous alloys is presented. Thin films of amorphous magnetic materials were fabricated by laser ablation dep osition in the presence and in the absence of a magnetic field. The di fference in parameters of deposited films is attributed to ferromagnet ic properties of small size liquid droplets. (C) 1998 American Institu te of Physics.
