Abstract
The method of integral relations (MIR) has been dealt with many studie s between 1956 and 1985. Its computer time and memory space saving asp ect was not sufficient to make it successful. We show, in the case of the laminar incompressible boundary layer equations, that the simplifi cations made by the MIR, lead to a numerical problem which is not real ly an approximation of the continuous problem.
