Abstract
The tangential friction during the slippage at an interface between tw o molten weakly incompatible polymers strongly depends on the entangle ments between the two melts. In a dynamical picture we derive the dens ity of entanglements when the slippage velocity is V. For V larger tha n a threshold value V, this density decreases with V, leading to a de crease of the shear stress at the interface.
