Abstract
Triazolam, commonly prescribed to treat insomnia, also can be used to reduce dental anxiety. Despite controversial reports in the lay press, triazolam can be used safely at low doses for short periods. The auth ors review research concerning the drug's safety and discuss its use i n dentistry.
