Abstract
Raillietnema brachyspiculatum sp. n. (Nematoda: Cosmocercoidea), a new nematode from the large intestine of Lepidophyma tuxtlae collected at Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz, Mexico, is described and illustrated. It is di stinguished from 4 other Neotropical species by number of male caudal papillae, shorter spicule length, and smaller egg size.
