Abstract
The continuum states of two-neutron halo nuclei are calculated in the method of hyperspherical harmonics, where the scattering wavefunctions are orthogonal to occupied core states. Dipole states in both He-6 an d Li-11 are examined and are found to have pronounced peaks but to be non-resonant. Other excited states in these two nuclei are found to ha ve resonant characteristics.
