Abstract
The main conceptual prerequisites for the development and introduction of a standardised documentation system in psychiatry (in this Ease: p sychosocial rehabilitation) are discussed. These will help to improve the acceptance of the system and optimise the quality of the data. Sin ce the positive motivation of the staff is decisive, it is essential t o meet their needs and demands.
