Abstract
Hummelinckiolus silhavyi new species is described from both the male a nd female from Dominican Republic amber (Upper Eocene in age). This is the first record of the genus from Hispaniola and the Greater Antille s. An emended diagnosis of Hummelinckiolus is provided. A modern Humme linckiolus sp. is reported from St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands.
