Abstract
A mathematical technique for reconstruction of a function from its Gab or transform is described. Knowledge of the Gabor-transform modulus is only necessary for reconstruction. When applied to time measurements of subpicosecond signals, this technique will enable one to overcome t he instrumental limitations of the electro-optics apparatus. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
