X. Li et al., PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF MAGNETIC AFFINITY ADSORBENT BASED ON MAGNETIC CELLULOSE BEAD, Gaodeng xuexiao huaxue xuebao, 19(6), 1998, pp. 994-999
In this paper, the reversed-phase suspension and embedment techniques
were adopted of preparing the paramagnetic cellulose beads (MCBs), Whi
le the viscose suspended in oil-phase was heated at 90 degrees C for 4
0 min , cellulose might be regenerated from cellulose xanthate, and th
e gamma-Fe2O3 superfine powder (empty set < 300 nm) dispersed in the v
iscose was wrapped up among the regenerated cellulose chains, then the
MCBs were obtained whose mean size might be less than 300 mu m, and i
ts distribution was narrow, Moist MCBs have the porosity more than 85%
, Their magnetizability was of the order of magnitude of 10(-3) emu/g,
These MCBs can be activated by many kinds of common methods, and can
be applied to immobilizing different bioactive ligands to obtain vario
us magnetic affinity adsorbents(MAA). We activated the MCBs in a 35 mm
ol/L sodium periodate solution, and immobilized the human chorionic go
nadotropin (hCG) on them to obtain the MAA with 300 IU hCG/g content,
This kind of MAA could specifically adsorb anti-hCG antibody from muri
ne ascites super natant.
