The Li-6(1+0) --> He-4 + d virtual decay vertex constant G0 and the re
spective asymptotic coefficient C0 of the Li-6 wave function in the He
-4 + d channel are found using the analytic continuation of the soluti
on of a novel energy-dependent phase-shift analysis of elastic d-He-4
scattering to the pole corresponding to the Li-6 ground state. The rel
iability and accuracy of the method used have been corroborated indepe
ndently by three other ways: by direct solving the inverse problem for
d-He-4 scattering and by two different methods for finding a solution
for the three-body (alpha + n + p) problem. The values G0(2) = 0.42 /- 0.02 fm and C0 = 2.93 +/- 0.15 have been found, which seem to be th
e most accurate and reliable among the values obtained so far.
