Abstract
An improved synthesis of selectively mono- and dibrominated oligothiop henes using the system N-bromosuccinimide/dimethylformamide is reporte d together with the preparation of the corresponding alpha-alkyl and a lpha,alpha-dialykl derivatives which represent potent biologically act ive agents.
