The physico-chemical properties, i.e., solubilities, of the anthelmint
ic drug disophenol (2, 6-diiodo-4-nitrophenol), X-ray powder diffracti
on pattern, UV-WS, MS, IR, H-1-NMR and C-13-NMR spectra, are described
in this paper: Disophenol was determined by potentiometric titration
in non-aqueous media and differential screening calorimetry. Relationa
ted compounds were examined by HPLC and TLC using three different movi
l phases.
