Abstract
The thermal behaviour of vanadyl (IV) phthalocyanine was investigated by TG and DTA measurements in oxygen and nitrogen atmospheres. Whereas in the first case V2O5 is found as the only pyrolysis product, the de composition in nitrogen atmosphere reveals a more complex mechanism an d stoichiometry.
