CRITICAL-EVALUATION OF CALCULATED AND EXPERIMENTAL TRANSITION-PROBABILITIES AND LIFETIMES FOR SINGLY IONIZED IRON-GROUP ELEMENTS

Using the orthogonal operator technique, transition probabilities of s ingly ionized iron group elements have been calculated. Good agreement is Obtained between experimental and calculated values. Several trans itions of the s-p and d-p type, however, show systematic deviations. P ossible error sources are discussed.
