Incoherent scattering differential cross sections have been experiment
ally studied for 59.5 keV photons in the angular range 36 degrees-135
degrees by 4.5 degrees degree angular increments for the elements In,
Au and Pb by using a Ge(Li) detector. The experimental values have bee
n compared with those estimated on the basis of the nonrelativistic Ha
rtree-Fock wave functions. Background correction and detection efficie
ncy are also included in this study.
