ALBOLEPTONIA FROM THE GREATER ANTILLES

Four new species of Alboleptonia are described from Puerto Rico and ne -tv distribution records for Alboleptonia are noted for Puerto Rico an d St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Information from examination of the t ype collections of Alboleptonia aripoana, A. cyathiformis, and A. hyal odepas is discussed. Clarification of conflicting reports in the liter ature concerning the application of A. hyalodepas is presented and a l ectotype is designated. Two new combinations are also made for Entolom a minutoalbum and E. talisporum. A key to the taxa of Alboleptonia occ urring in and around the Caribbean region is also provided.
