The ESR method was used to study bulky samples of the Fe-Mo heteropoly
complex and the related supported catalyst. The supported catalyst man
ifests a considerably higher thermal stability than the bulky sample o
f the individual heteropolycompound. The high thermal stability of par
amagnetic centers in the supported Fe-Mo catalyst under the high-tempe
rature action (up to 823 K) of water vapor was discussed.
