Abstract
A second species of the previously monotypic terrestrial potamid crab genus, Terrapotamon Ng, 1986, is described from southern Thailand. The new species, T. palian, can be distinguished from T. abbotti (Rathbun , 1898) by characters in the carapace, exorbital tooth, postorbital cr istae, chelipeds, ambulatory legs and male first pleopods, as well as in the form of the frontal, postorbital and suborbital regions.
