Abstract
The variation in the structural state of potassium feldspars from the Serres-Drama plutonic complex, Northern Greece, from X-ray diffraction study is discussed. Monoclinic potassium feldspars occur in monzoniti c rocks, which may have cooled with a much lower volatile content, whi lst triclinic potassium feldspars occur in quartz monzonite, granodior ite and granite which probably cooled in the presence of a greater vol atile content.
