Abstract
A series of Fe2-xCrxO3 (r = 0, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2, 1.6, 2.0) mixed oxides h ave been prepared with the chemical coprecipitation method and charact erized by specific surface area, transmission electron microscopy (TEM ), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Sing le-phase Fe-Cr mixed oxide nano-crystalline powders with corundum stru cture are obtained. and the results of the five characterization metho ds are well accordant with each other. Furthermore, gas-sensitive prop erties of the sensors made of the oxide powders have been studied.
